Dr. Green speaks, writes and consults on both opportunities and challenges of an intergenerational workforce, specifically those aged 50+. Since 1989, she has researched, written about aging workforce issues and strategies, and guided organizations in devising age positive HR practices and policies.

Consulting Highlights
  • Change management consultant on a NASA knowledge management project aimed at stemming the loss of older workers’ knowledge capital in aerospace industry.
  • Facilitated employer education workshops, in six cities, on use of flexible workplace practices for 50+ workers, funded by AARP & Sloan Foundation.
  • Facilitated four national ‘future of work’ programs for businesses highlighting HR strategies to attract and retain 50+ workers for US Chamber of Commerce and AARP .
  • Created multi-year forecasts and work scenarios for 50+ Workers as part of Next Avenue’s (Twin Cities PBS affiliate) digital series on future of Americans 50+.
  • Facilitated panel discussion of private sector’s HR best practices for Department of Labor conference, evaluated training efficacy of federal senior employment program.
  • Researched US best practices, recruitment through separation, for older workers’ booklets; wrote two working papers on workers 55+ for U.N. International Labour Office.
